A Closer Look at Nautica Japan’s SS22 Capsule Collection

Following the opening of its first-ever Hong Kong pop-up, we now have a closer look at the lookbook for Nautica Japan’s Spring/Summer capsule collection that just arrived on HBX.

The latest inline collection directed by creative director Akio Hasegawa comprises forty pieces that merge the Japanese brand’s marine elements with streetwear. To commemorate its collaboration with HBX, each item is tagged with the two brands’ logo labels re-imagined by Japanese graffiti artists, JOTA and LURK.

Highlighted in the lineup are HBX-exclusive items, including the Multi Border S/S Rugger Shirt and the “TOO HEAVY” Pigment Dyed Arch Logo S/S Tee in a special fuchsia color tone. Brand signatures such as varsity letter hoodies, sweatshirts, oversized oxford shirts, and t-shirts are other standouts. Completing Hasegawa’s iconic “city boy” look are knee-length shorts with relaxed fit, bleach-washed baggy jeans, as well as panel caps, and bucket hats. A flip-flop sandal and clear umbrella adorned with the Nautica Japan logo are summer essentials that round out the range.

“With the collection released outside of Japan for the very first time, I’m excited to invite fans all around the world into the universe of Nautica Japan through HBX,” says Hasegawa.

Priced from $30 to $150 USD, Nautica Japan’s Spring/Summer capsule collection and limited edition items are now available on HBX.
