Fear Not, Jacquemus x Nike Is Restocking

Simon Porte Jacquemus took his eponymous label to Arles in southern France to present Jacqeumus Fall/Winter 2022 "Le Papier," and while the dramatic backdrop of the salt mountains of the Camargue park undoubtedly became a major talking point of the show, the official runway reveal of its collaboration with Nike was the biggest moment. As expected, the collection sold out the second it was released exclusively on Jacquemus' website on June 28, but fear not, as there will be other ways to get your hands on the collaboration very soon.

Speaking on the partnership, Simon Porte Jacquemus said: "For this collaboration with Nike, I wanted to create a collection that reinterprets athletic women’s sportswear in a minimal way. I have always been inspired by vintage ACG pieces and Nike campaigns from the '90s. Having this imagery in mind, we designed women’s athletic wear with sensuous details and neutral colors, along with my own interpretation of the Humara -- my favorite Nike shoe. It was important for the collection to be accessible, for all bodies, and to be a natural blend of Jacquemus style and Nike performance."

This collection is, as Jacqeumus said, for all bodies. As a result, the duo is hoping to give plenty of other people another chance to get their hands on the collaboration, which includes everything from the sought-after Air Humara sneaker in a variety of inclusive sizes to sportswear-derived pieces like the Dri-FIT tennis skirts and dresses, and of course, the hoodie and bucket hat that have stolen the hearts of fashion lovers.

The hoodie is a particularly key piece in this collection as it follows the "Le Papier" runway theme. As a result, it's presented in a natural cream color with brown drawcords that are brought together with Jacquemus' take on the Nike mini swoosh, finished in gold for a touch of sophistication. It, along with the bucket hat, are exquisitely simplistic and fit well alongside the Air Humara, assuming you can cop them.

With that in mind, Nike is set to restock its Jacquemus collaboration on Nike's website, SNKRS and at a selection of global retailers from July 7 onwards. You can visit a dedicated Nike website to find out more about launch information in your region. Take a look at the collection on the runway and some detailed shots above, and be quick to cop when it all drops again on the 7th, with prices ranging from $40-$175 USD for apparel and $170 USD for footwear.

In other news, Reebok has turned its iconic Beatnik into a moc.
