Turn 10 Studios has finally announced the release window for the newest installation for Forza Motorsport during the Xbox showcase. Distinct from the Forza Horizon series which presents players with an open-world map to explore through a massive roster of predominantly road cars, Forza Motorsport focuses more on realistic simulator racing, thrusting drivers into the world of track and circuit races.
While no details have been provided yet regarding exactly how many vehicles will be featured in the game, the new official trailer shows off quite a wide range of racing categories, and Turn 10 says that its dynamic weather and track conditions will create a much more accurate representation of how these cars run in the real world.
"Changes in time of day alter ambient temperatures, which, in turn, impacts the track surface temperatures," creative director Chris Esaki explained. "These track temperature changes will affect the grip of your car, as does rubbering in and weather." Aside from the official trailer, the developer also released a closer look at Forza Motorsport's gameplay which you can view down below.
For the racing and sim fans out there, Forza Motorsport will arrive for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC in the spring of 2023.
