Following the reveal of the Sean Wotherspoon x Hot Wheels x adidas Originals Superturf Adventure, we now have a closer look at the threeway collaborative shoes that just arrived on HBX. The latest style made in part with recycled production waste is said to combine '90s culture and hiking aesthetics.
Continuing Wotherspoon's affinity for rich colors with an injection of the miniature vehicles' playfulness, the sneakers take on a seven-color palette. Baby blue, purple, and pink textile lining atop the white mesh base forms adidas' signature Three Stripes, while yellow synthetic panels decorate the eyelet placket and midsole.
Further catching one's eyes and evoking nostalgia are interchangeable velcro graphic patches of the iconic "Hot Wheels" logo, an earth motif, and the American designer's branding, as well as the "It's Not the Same Without the Flame." slogan on the shoe tongue adorned with a zipper.
Other details include bright red tones on the eyelets and heel tabs and blue accents around the collar and edge of the midsole. Rounding out the footwear pieces are lightweight and form-fitting AdiPrene cushioning.
Priced at $165 USD, the Sean Wotherspoon x Hot Wheels x adidas Originals Superturf Adventure is now available on HBX.
