While adidas' high profile collaborations with fashion houses such as Balenciaga, Gucci and Prada have dominated headlines recently, smaller scale collaborative projects have also been making noise. Staying true to its roots, adidas Skateboarding and Tyshawn Jones have continued to present fresh colorways of the Tyshawn Low. The 23-year-old skater has been part of the Three Stripes team for years now and shows no signs of slowing down.
Found in a "Sky Rush" blue, the Tyshawn Low opts for a base layer composed of a premium leather upper in white while blue suede detailing pairs with the classic adidas stripes in blue. Hits of gold touch down on the tongue, heel and "TYSHAWN" text located aside the Three Stripes. Skate-ready specifications include abrasion-resistant Adituff toe reinforcement, a molded Adiprene sockliner and an all-white rubber sole unit. Lastly, adidas' commitment to lessening its environmental impact is recognized by the usage of some recycled content in its upper.
The launch of this iteration of the Tyshawn Low is set to take place June 15 via adidas and select retailers at a price of $85 USD.
In other adidas news, the YEEZY BOOST 700 "High-Res Red" is on its way later this week.
