If an Eastside Golf x Air Jordan edition of the AJ12 Low G wasn't enough, the iconic "French Blue" colorway is now coming soon to a golf course near you.
While release is expected for August 12, 2022, at 10 AM EST, there are a few details for us to pour over in the meantime. In comparing these to the basketball version worn by the likes of Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and John Wall, the first difference is of course the low profile. While the tumbled leather section and textured mudguard remain in their original colors, there is no sight of the subtle red detailing from the 2003 release. The last thing to note is the seven spike sole for traction across the variety of surfaces that the golf course presents.
One interesting tidbit you may not know is that the 'French Blues' were originally destined to be worn by Michael Jordan during his stint with the Washington Wizards, but the sneakers didn't reach production in time. This new release is expected to retail for $219.99 USD.
