Collaborations continue to be a focal point for Brain Dead all of its product-related initiatives. This is especially true for its footwear lineup as the brand has partnered alongside Oakley and Reebok for various team-ups, and now this month, the Kyle Ng-helmed company is set to reunite with Vans for a new footwear capsule. In the past, the two parties have worked on various silhouettes such as the Sk8-Hi, Slip-On and the Era, and now they've opted to turn their heads to the Half Cab.
While we're only able to capture a glimpse of the shoes from its rear-end perspective, we can somewhat get a sense of its visual composition. The traditional suede overlays appear to be engulfed in a solid black hue and complemented by off-white canvas panels. And on the back, the California-based streetwear entity's moniker has been stitched on in a graffiti-esque font. Red Vans bumper stickers are applied to the heels and ride on top of all-black midsoles.
Brain Dead and Vans are expected to provide a full look at the pair shortly, and they're confirmed to be dropping on June 14, 2022
