Experimentation appears to be a common theme that's been displayed in many of Converse's recent footwear initiatives. We've seen it with the simplicity of Tyler, the Creator's new GLF 2.0 silhouette as well as within its creation of a new clog-like model in the Sponge Crater CX, and now this narrative is being expanded with a brand new lifestyle offering: the Converse Chuck 70 AT-CX.
Judging from the stature of the silhouette and the way it features chunky bottoms paired with a Chuck 70 Hi-inspired base, it certainly recalls memories of the silhouettes like the Converse Run Star Hike and the Converse Run Star Motion Platform. The uppers keep the traditional 70 aesthetic and materials intact, but the sole unit introduces a refreshing aesthetic. Rubber molds are attached along the toe tips and midsoles, both of which are chiseled with various slits that upgrade the shoe with an elevated aesthetic. Furthermore, the treading has been cut with diamond-shaped patterns to provide wearers with ample traction.
The Converse Chuck 70 AT-CX is available now in Asia.
