It's safe to say that the Air Jordan 2 had played a key role in Jordan Brand's offerings for 2022. After picking up some momentum at the end of 2021 with two Off-White™ colorways, the Air Jordan 2 has since been reworked by the likes of Union LA, A Ma Maniére, Maison Château Rouge, TITAN and Colombian superstar J Balvin.
Throughout the year we've been given teasers of another J Balvin x Jordan Brand collection with recent looks at both an apparel drop and Air Jordan 2 colorway in the works. However, this weekend the "Prince of Reggaeton" closed out Pharrell's Something in the Water festival rocking another collaborative Air Jordan 2 colorway. The build seems to match his blue version of the shoe but opts for a mint green look throughout.
Given that this pair has been tagged as a friends and family exclusive, don't expect to ever find a pair available on shelves for retail. However, J Balvin is still expected to release his previously teased blue Air Jordan 2 colorway sometime later this year.
In case you missed it, Jordan Brand has shared official images of the Jordan System.23 clog in a "Pink" colorway.
