Sneaker fans that subscribe to all of the initiatives from Nike and its SB label will be first to tell you that it flourishes in the collaborative realm of footwear. The skate-focused brand will often partner with various brands, artists, skaters and more for special projects, and one that is expected to launch to the masses is the FAUST x Nike SB Dunk High which has just been officially uncovered.
For this offering, the New York City-based graffiti artist applies a regal color palette and his intricate artwork to the high-cut silhouette. This can be seen by its two-toned motif that mostly relies on a solid black tone to treat the smooth leather overlays, laces, bottoms and nubuck panels, and this is all paired next to enticing, mismatched script artwork that is blown up on the lateral walls. The medial Swooshes of the left foot come fitted with gilded outlined Swooshes that appear with a drip-like effect to mimic a fresh spray of paint and FAUST's moniker is printed onto the lace dubraes. Additionally, the insoles are embellished with “Sell Your Soul” and “Sell Your Sole” spell-outs and the kicks come packaged with a set of three laces.
A release date still has to be announced by Nike but you can likely expect them to arrive in the coming months for $110 USD.
