Rado Adds Chronograph to Captain Cook Collection

Rado has added a chronograph to its heritage-inspired Captain Cook collection for the first time.

The 43mm chronograph is offered in three variations; a circular-brushed bronze watch with blue highlights and a sunray dial and two polished stainless steel models with black or blue accents and gradient dials.

Each watch is supplied with a selection of three quick-change straps, including a metal bracelet with the stainless steel model.

The bi-compax chronograph features a glassbox sapphire crystal, polished ceramic bezel ring with quarter-hour indications and applied, Super-LumiNova-filled indices. Screw-down caseback and screw-in pushers and crown allow for 300 meter water resistance.

The watch is powered by a new R801 automatic chronograph movement which features a Nivachron anti-magnetic hairspring and a 59-hour power reserve.

The Captain Cook Chronograph is out now via Rado, with prices starting at £3,440 GBP (approximately $4,315 USD).

Elsewhere in watches, Bell & Ross BR-03-92 Radiocompass is straight out of the cockpit.
