Release Info for the JJJJound x Reebok NPC II Collaboration

Minimalism and craftsmanship are two focal points that tend to arise anytime JJJJound chooses to participate in a collaborative footwear initiative. And this is especially the case for its team-ups with Reebok as the duo's past takes atop the Club C and Classic Nylon have all been meticulously engineered with versatile palettes and premium materials. Given the success of these past collabs, the Montreal-based design entity has elected to broaden its range with the Boston sportswear imprint and formed an elevated Reebok NPC II offering.

The low-slung silhouette from 1985 was originally designed for tennis players, and it's been modernized in this instance with a simplistic all-white arrangement for your lifestyle wardrobe. “The theme was to make an everyday sneaker with a simple silhouette and construction – the generic nature of this model blends well with our ethos,” said JJJJound founder Justin Saunders. “The shoe draws inspiration from its own origins and employs design cues we have featured on Reebok projects in the past. Reebok allows us to be specific about the small details. We value this freedom greatly and it allows for the creation of products we are proud to offer.”

Gilded JJJJound branding arrives desbossed in the center of the lateral panels, and the interior has been lined with a plush terry fabric that is drenched in an off-white hue. Another interesting quality about this project is that no two pairs are the same. Subtle design elements are mixed and matched throughout the production process and consumers won't know which pair they're getting until they receive them in the mail.

Check out a closer look right here and note that they are set to release on July 21 via JJJJound and August 5 globally. The retail price is set at $165 USD.

In other news, Maison Margiela and Reebok recently launched a black Croafer.
