Seiko has added a GMT complication to its Seiko 5 Sports collection for the first time since its was launched in 1968.
Three new watches, inspired by Seiko 5 SKX models from the 1990s, are powered by Seiko’s automatic Calibre 4R and feature Hardlex-topped rotating 24-hour GMT bezels in three different bi-color options; Black Grape, Blueberry and Mikan Orange.
Each piece uses a contrasting GMT hand to indicate a second timezone against the fixed 24-hour scale on the rehaut and a third against the rotating bezel.
Hands and indices are coated in Seiko’s own luminous paint, Lumibrite, and the watch is secured on a five-link stainless steel bracelet.
The Seiko 5 Sports GMT models drop in July via Seiko, priced £400 GBP or $475 USD.
Elsewhere in watches, Timex drops Waterbury Ocean upcycled plastic collection.
