Dropping in a couple of days, here is an official look at the AEW x Diadora N9002.
Celebrating Pride Month, this collaboration between Diadora and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is inspired by AEW’s incredible LGBTQ+ talent. The Diadora N9002 comes dressed in a classic Black nylon-suede upper contrasted by the prismatic, multi-color overlay that matches the aesthetic of the AEW logo on the back.
The project was developed with the support of Foot Locker Inc.’s employee resource group called LACED WITH PRIDE, which is working to foster an inclusive work environment that supports LGBTQ+ individuals and their Allies through education and awareness. In addition, $25,000 will be donated to The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young people.
The Pride Month drop precludes additional releases under the Diadora x AEW’s multi-pronged collection. You can expect four additional new AEW-themed sneaker releases this year. The first is in development with Matt & Nick Jackson (The Young Bucks), while the next three individual shoes, which are part of the HHM umbrella (Andrade, Lucha Bros and Santana/Ortiz), will release in the fall and are to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
The AEW x Diadora N9002 will be available exclusively at Champs Sports and May 26th and www.champssports.com for the retail price of $120.
