To promote its streaming service, Peacock shared "A Peacock Extra" in the form of a never-before-seen deleted scene from The Office. Taken from Season 5, Episode 10: "THE SURPLUS," the scenes shows Michael Scott (Steve Carell) telling his staff a tale of a boy who longed for a Pippi Longstocking doll.

Taken from the NBC series, the deleted scene takes place after Michael pockets the Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch's extra $4,300 USD budget as a bonus, instead of buying a new copier or chairs. Michael tries to justify his action by passing a story about a 12-year-old boy who wanted a Pippy Longstocking doll for Christmas. Ultimately, Michael hilariously shares how he should be grateful for what he already had.
