Samsung has finally gone ahead and unveiled the much-hyped Galaxy A54 5G and the Galaxy A34 5G, both devices are joining Samsung's stellar A series lineup, or in other words, the company's most profitable lineup considering how these phones generate pretty steady and high revenue for the South Korean tech giant.
Samsung's Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G are excellent mid-range phones with very similar specs but different chipsets
Let's start with the Galaxy A54 5G. The phone boasts a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the back is a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with fixed focus, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. On the front, you will find a 32-megapixel camera. The phone is powered by an Exynos 1380 chipset, features 6 or 8 gigs of RAM, and has 128 or 256 gigs of storage with a microSD card slot. Powering the phone is a 5,000 mAh cell, and it will be running Android 13 atop One UI 5.1. The Galaxy A54 5G can be yours in Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White and starts at £499 or $607.
Moving on to the Galaxy A34 5G, you are looking at a larger 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For an ultra-wide camera, you get an 8-megapixel sensor, a 48-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 13-megapixel front camera. The phone is available in 6/128, 8/128, and 8/256 gig offerings, with a microSD card slot. Powering the device is also a 5,000 mAh cell, and the phone runs Android 13 atop One UI 5.1. For chipset, Samsung has decided to go with MediaTek Dimensity 1080 instead of a Snapdragon or an Exynos chipset. The phone will be available in Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Violet, and Awesome Silver and can be yours for £399 or $485.
Both the Galaxy A54 5G and A34 5G will be available in specific markets in Europe and Southeast Asia. Samsung has not expressed plans to bring these phones to other markets. You can check out the full spec sheet of both phones below.
