If you're well into the Apple ecosystem then there's no way you are using any other podcast app other than Apple's very own Podcasts. It works for a lot of people out there, syncs across devices and is extremely simple to use.
Find yourself traveling a lot with limited data? No problem. You have the option to download podcast episodes straight onto the Podcasts app for offline listening as well. Yours truly does it all the time as it is a great way to catch up on things instantly, especially when you are in the car and cellular could be spotty during a trip.
So, how do you download podcast episodes on your iPhone and iPad? Pick your device up and follow through. Once done, we will show you how you can do the same on your Mac.
Download Podcast Episode on iPhone and iPad
Step 1. Launch the Podcasts app.
Step 2. Find the podcast whose episode you want to download.
Step 3. Now find the episode you want to download.
Step 4. Tap and hold on the episode until you see more options.
Step 5. Tap on Download Episode.
Step 6. You'll find the downloaded episode under the Downloaded section in Library.
If you want to delete your downloaded episode, just tap and hold on the episode you wish to delete and then tap on Remove.

Step 1. Launch the Podcasts app on your Mac.
Step 2. Find the podcast and episode you wish to download for offline listening.
Step 3. Right-click on the episode.
Step 4. Click on Download Episode.
Step 5. You'll find your downloaded episode by clicking on the Downloaded section on the left.
Removing an episode is easy, too. Just right click on the episode you want to remove and click on Remove.
